The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award is open to young people from all backgrounds and abilities. It’s not a competition. It’s about setting your own goals, trying new things and achieving something you’re proud of.
For young people aged 14 and over, Leigh Youth Hub offer the Bronze Award and Silver Award.
As part of your DofE journey, you’ll:
- Volunteer in your community
- Improve your fitness
- Learn a new skill
- Plan and complete an expedition
- Meet new people and work as part of a team
Taking part helps you build confidence, resilience, communication and problem-solving skills while having fun and making new friends along the way.
Spaces are limited, there is a fee to take part, and participants are expected to attend monthly sessions over approximately 7 months.
