Global Friends is a youth group for young people aged 11-17 from different ethnic backgrounds, taking place at leigh Youth Hub every Tuesday.
The Global Friends group meets every Tuesday at Leigh Youth Hub and involves a varied range of activities and discussion points, which have included:
- Receive support with any difficulties you may be facing
- Improve your local area for young people
- Run campaigns for change
- A chance to have your say and be listened to
- Workshops and discussions
- Learn new skills
- Build your confidence
- Meet other young people from different backgrounds
- Receive rewards for being involved such as trips and fun activities
