We’re proud to unveil a new and meaningful addition to The Hub — our Leigh Past Players Patron’s Plaque, a lasting tribute to the association that has stood beside us in our mission to support young people.
This plaque is more than just a symbol. It represents partnership and support and today, we extend a heartfelt thank you to the Leigh Past Players Association for their unwavering support.
From backing our annual Family Christmas Meal to helping fund cooking sessions that teach life skills and build confidence, your generosity has created real, lasting change in the lives of the young people we serve.
Your contributions have helped us:
- Deliver hands-on learning that empowers young people
- Build a space where everyone feels valued and supported
- Allow young people a chance to learn new life skills in the kitchen
- Supported families within the community at Christmas time
- Giving young people and families the opportunity to attend Leigh Leopard matches
- Give us staffing support on sessions that allow us to give the young people the service they deserve
We are truly grateful to have you as part of our journey. 💙
Jason Donohue & Phil Johnson From Leigh Past Players Association commented: “It’s a privilege that the past players can help others in our community. The past players have sponsored the Hub as we view the Hub in Leigh as a valuable resource for both current and future generations of the leigh community. As players, we tried to be the difference that made the difference in a game. If we can continue that mantra, then our support is making the difference for young people of Leigh.”
Leigh Past Players Association’s name on our wall is a reminder to all who enter The Hub that community support makes all the difference.
